Palisade Mourns the Loss of Co-Founder Jack Feiler

Jack Feiler

Dear Friends and Clients,

With profound sadness, we share the news of Palisade co-founder Jack Feiler’s passing on April 29, 2026. An enduring force behind Palisade Capital Management’s 30+ year history, Jack's life and career were defined by integrity and an unwavering commitment to his family, clients, colleagues, and the principles upon which Palisade was built. His loss is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jack was a remarkable individual, investment professional, and family man. Throughout his distinguished career, Jack demonstrated an exceptional ability to navigate complex markets with discipline, insight, and perspective — always focused on serving his client’s best interests. He was a trusted advisor, a thoughtful mentor, and a man of uncommon character. Those who worked alongside Jack were fortunate to witness firsthand his quick wit, dedication to excellence, and genuine care for the people around him.

Though Jack stepped back from day-to-day involvement at Palisade several years ago, the high standard of excellence he set for all of us is his enduring legacy. Even in retirement, Jack took great pride in the firm he helped create and the relationships he established over many decades of hard work. Those relationships were built on a foundation of trust and selfless dedication to clients, lessons we are reminded of every day.

Jack's legacy lives in all of us, especially through his son, Michael Feiler, who continues to hold a prominent leadership role on Palisade’s Private Wealth Management team, as well in Michael’s brother Larry and through Jack’s six beloved grandchildren. Jack would be so proud to share that Michael embodies the same values of integrity and selfless dedication to client service that Jack championed throughout his career. Michael's continued presence and leadership at the firm, and his continued work with many of the same families Jack assisted during his career, is a testament to the enduring impact of Jack's life and work.

We ask you to keep the Feiler family in your thoughts during this difficult time. Jack's impact on Palisade, on the investment community, and on the lives of those he touched will never be forgotten. We are honored to carry his memory with us as we continue to serve you with the same commitment and care that he instilled in this firm from its earliest days.
