William Potter

Partner, Senior Portfolio Manager, Focused Equity

Will is a Partner and the Senior Portfolio Manager for Palisade Capital Management’s Focused Equity strategy. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Will has been an equity portfolio manager for over 20 years, having joined Forstmann-Leff in 2002 (which was subsequently acquired by Angelo Gordon) before joining Palisade in 2009. Prior to managing portfolios, Will had a 10-year career as an equity analyst with ABN AMRO, Alex. Brown, and Wertheim Schroder. During that time, he was recognized as a leader in technology and industrial research in several published surveys, including the Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street Survey". Will started his career as a corporate lending officer at Manufacturers Hanover and then at Chemical Bank (both of which merged into JPMorgan), and subsequently assumed roles in private equity and venture capital at Safeguard Scientifics. He received his M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his B.B.A. from Emory University.
