Bernard Picchi, CFA
Bernie is a Managing Director, Private Wealth Management. Prior to joining Palisade Capital Management in 2009, Bernie solely managed Federated Investor’s Capital Appreciation Fund, a $1.5 billion multi-cap stock fund, which achieved a 5-star Morningstar rating during his tenure with the fund. Prior to Federated, Bernie was Director of U.S. Equity Research from 1995 to 1999 at Lehman Brothers. Prior to this, he was an Energy Analyst at firms such as Salomon Brothers and Lehman Brothers, where his research was recognized 15 consecutive years by Institutional Investor magazine. Bernie is a CFA® Charterholder and received his B.S. in Foreign Service (Economics, Government and History) from Georgetown University.
Institutional Investor magazine recognized Mr. Picchi’s research in its All-America Research Team results each year from 1983 through 1994. Historically, to select the members of the All-America Research Team, Institutional Investor solicited opinions of directors of research and investment professionals at asset management firms based on AUM.
